Emily Lavengood

Libby Russell

Libby began dancing at Mountain Shadows and Downtown Dance in Great Falls, MT. She attended workshops and summer intensives from master teachers Bruce Stegman and Gus Giordano. Tap and Jazz being her primary focus. In high school and college, she competed nationally as well as regionally on dance teams through the UDA and UPA programs. Her Junior year, the team qualified and competed at ESPN sponsored UCA/UDA annual competition in Orlando, FL placing in the top ten. She attended college in Minnesota where competitions were focused on technical jazz.

Most recently, Libby has taught all levels, children through adults, in Durango at various studios as well as adult fitness classes, Barre and Tap. She has attended Dance Teacher Summit, taking classes from master choreographers such as Mandy Moore, Travis Wall, Miller & Ben, Anthony Morigerato, Syncopated Ladies, Chloe and Maude Arnold, Sarah Reich and Greg Russell. She continues to dance and learn as much as possible!

Her vision is to share through movement the musicality our bodies create in an environment that suits all levels. Her combined studio/competitive background lends to an understanding of refinement and passion that encourages a love of movement through music.

She has two daughters, Hannah and Britta, who also share her love of dance!

Emily Keisler

Emily is a former professional dancer & cheerleader for the Texas Stars AHL team as well as the Austin Spurs NBA D-League team. She began dancing at the age of 7 and has competed since age 14. Emily competed in studio competitions until high school, competed at NDA in poms and jazz in high school and competed at UDA for her alma mater Fordham University. Emily has enjoyed teaching hip hop, poms and barre classes since 2013 and is very excited to meet the Bella Dance Studio dancers!
